Goals
of Our Pre-School
"Dedicated to
fostering early discovery and Jewish traditions in a warm, caring
setting."
Pre-School at the Krieger Early
Childhood Center is a unique learning experience for children ages two to
five. The social, emotional and intellectual well-being of our young
children are its primary goals. Reading, math, and science are taught
through a creative curriculum that broadens the inquisitive mind of the
young child.
Each and every day we strive
to:
 |
Provide
children with an enjoyable experience every time they are at school. |
 |
Increase
the children's familiarity with their Jewish Heritage and enhance
their pride in being Jewish. |
 |
Nurture
each child's development. |
 |
Present
a developmentally appropriate program that targets the entire child.
Our program addresses the physical, intellectual, and
social/emotional, creative and spiritual aspects of the child. |
 |
Foster
healthy attitudes toward group work and play, sharing and cooperation
with others. |
The Krieger Early Childhood
Center also offers:
Tot
Shabbat
Our
children and their families celebrate Shabbat on the first Saturday
morning of each month. Together we worship through song, stories and
prayer. Our workshop is followed by a hands on activity, such as an art or
cooking project.
Bagels
& Blocks
A
Mommy & Me class with a Jewish twist! Parents and children are invited
to explore Jewish Holidays and traditions through art and play. We meet
every Tuesday morning.
Mom's
Morning Out:
A
weekly program for children ages 12 to 24 months. Now is your chance to get a little free time while your little one sings, enjoys arts and
crafts, playground and much more.
