Tzedakah & Donations

You can help maintain the religious, educational and cultural programs of Temple Ahavat Shalom by making a contribution in honor, or in memory, of a loved one. All donations are deeply appreciated.

Building/Sanctuary Fund

Supports major repairs and beautification of our Temple grounds and helps to reduce our mortgage.

Torah Fund

Provides for the care and restoration of our Torah scrolls and ornaments.  

Choir/Music Fund

Underwrites the musical programs, concerts, and the commissioning of new music.  It also finances the hiring of professional vocalist and musicians for special programs.

Tree of Life

Supports the operations of the synagogue in general.

Krieger Early Childhood Fund

Helps improve the quality of education for our congregation’s youngest students.

Elaine & David Wolstein Religious School Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships to assist families with tuition cost.

Weaner Religious School Fund

Helps improve the quality of education offered by our congregation.

Flower Fund

Provides flowers that beautify our bimah each Shabbat.

Prayer Book Fund

Underwrites printing, repair and special purchases of prayer books, as well as  special liturgical material.

 Ariel Goldman Memorial Library Fund

Provides books and materials for our Temple library.

Rabbi Gary Klein Youth Lounge Fund

Provides funds to help build a lounge where our Temple Youth can meet for study and recreation.

Rabbi Gary Klein Discretionary Fund 

Enables Rabbi Klein, to use this fund, at his discretion, for purposes of furthering his rabbinic functioning, the enhancement of Jewish life for the congregation and to help those less fortunate, not only in our congregation, but in the community as well.
